I have worked with families since 2015, and my original goal for Gully Studios was to primarily take photos on our property in Arlington, WA. While I do take photos on our really, really cool piece of land (it could be a movie set) that has a huge backyard, a forest, and walking access to the Stillaguamish river, I have found myself continuing to love working on-location with families (and at their homes) and working with local businesses, communities, artists, and musicians as well. I have named the family portion of my business “Daypass” as a nod to the adventures I’ve been taking with families around the PNW - ferry rides, ice cream outings, days by the river, hikes, and more. I encourage you to make the time for family photos and want to show that photos are not meant to be a drag or rushed. They don’t have to be forced.They are an opportunity to take a day to create an adventure and memories. 

I live in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State with my husband and toddler son. Since we are transplants from the East Coast, we travel back to Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C., frequently. I am available for shoots in these locations.

My style of photography is cinematic and is directed by me. I let the sessions unfold while guiding you through a mix of posed portraits and letting the candid moments happen.
